The seams are taped and the zip on the rear is watertight to improve waterproofness
Abrasion resistant fabric is used on the toe and the underside has a hook and look open closure to improve ease of taking on and off as well as being more compatible with mountain bike style shoes
Elasticated leg cuff with a silicone gripper keep them firmly in place
